The Dog & Cat Shelter has recently established an endowment fund. What is an endowment fund?

The Dog & Cat Shelter has just
become a listed charity with
www.iGive.com. We will receive a donation from every
purchase made through them (percentages vary
according to the store) if buyers designate us as their recipient.
Over 600 businesses are included, such as: Staples, Office
Depot, PETCO, Eddie Bauer, Doctors Foster & Smith, GAP and Harry &
David.

An endowment fund is an investment account
whereby only the interest is withdrawn to help with operating or other expenses
as needed. Our endowment fund has been established with a wonderfully generous
donation of $10,000. If a
donation of $5000.00 or more is given to the Endowment Fund you may have a name
engraved on the Memorial Monument which is beautifully displayed at the Dog &
Cat Shelter. Any size donation
is greatly appreciated.
